Hello,

          My name is Jason Wheeler, President of C and J Productions LLC; a parent company of Crooked Shack Studios. Although my career in music begins in high school, I did not submerge myself in the industry until 2001. My skill sets began as the front man for a successful band which played the western region of the US for several years. After this, I became fascinated with the technical and production side of the business, learning the nuances of both studio and live performance sound and recording. This is a skill I have been honing over the past fifteen years.

          After taking a hiatus for two years to settle into our new surroundings in the beautiful mountain town of Tehachapi, my wife and I have chosen to bring back to the forefront our small, but successful business (in the Susanville area). This business provides small to medium audio and lighting for events such as weddings, public events and up to seven piece bands. We also provide acoustic solo and duet music as requested in the genre of classic rock, modern classic rock and country. C and J Productions will provide competent and professional services with the goal of gearing our audio services to what the customer wants; up to and including canned ambient music suited to the event at hand.  We will provide what you need within the scope of the capabilities of the equipment we have to offer.
